Mare:

Mare engineering Incorp was founded at year 2000 by civil engineers, architects, electrical and mechanical engineers and economists all having a word in their profession for successing innovative projects in construction industry. Insulated concrete systems, modular insulated wall panels for household implementation, military bullet proof wall system and production of artificial stone building elements were the topics researched and the last one was decided to be implemented at year 2004 through a long breath scientific research project . The Research Project was supported by the TUBITAK, the Turkish Scientific Research Institution and the TTGV, the Turkish Technological Development Foundation.



Scientific Research

Following a long research and decision period, it was decided at 2004 to develop high property creative and innovative artificial stones and building materials made from them . Our scientific research “project for developing completely new technology cement bound, mineral aggregate and natural looking floor and facade artificial stones having performance concrete properties, produced at decided colors and textures by also using artificial aggregates and developing the related process and the prototype” was supported by the Turkish Technology Development Foundation (TTGV) and the Turkish Scientific Research Institute (TUBİTAK).

Project continued on in phases and totally a new technology artificial stone production process is obtained (refer to Process). Paralelly, new generation products had been obtained. At the first phase only the outside use was planned but in sequence of Project it was found that stone for polished use properties also could be obtained and both targets were realized at same phase. Total project took a 4.5 years of hard work. Ultimate product is the Fastest and Lightest Mare Cladding System.

Scientific research is still in the center of all Mare activities as a tradition adopted after the long breath Project. Mare products are aesthetical, durable and produced in an automated, accurate, well controlled system.



Engineering- Consultancy


Throughout all the period Mare was also interested in engineering consultancy works financed by international funding agents. Mare had performed excellent in Afterearthquake housing (3540 units) project in cooperation with NBCC-CES J.V at Adapazarı, Düzce, Cumayeri and Gölyaka financed by World Bank and European Investment Bank. Project was contracted to Prime Ministries Implementation Unit and included many schools, health posts, post offices and all infrastructure. Nowadays, Mare is consultant in World Bank financed project for Governorate of Istanbul for design and construction supervision of Istanbul Emergency Management Center. Design phase completed in full satisfaction to Clients, works tender done and supervision phase is on-going
